Lauren grew up in State College, Pennsylvania. She loves the Lord, her precious family of four (husband Andrew and two sweet boys, Noah and Jeremiah), running, singing, coffee, Fall, Penn State Football, family time, being goofy and fun and just putting a little laughter into every day life. In her time off from fitness, she is grateful to get to stay home to homeschool her boys, work with the kiddos at her church and take part in various community and church co-ops and fellowship groups.
Lauren has always been active in sports and exercise and passionate about health and fitness. She is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer who has been offering personal and group training for 10 years. She has had extensive training under apprenticeships, certificate programs and continued educational courses and workshops (areas of study and certifications below).
Lauren most recently owned a stroller fitness program that helped pre and postnatal women maintain, regain or enhance their pre-pregnancy fitness level. Her most recent studies were in successful women's programs for prenatal, postnatal, peri-menopausal and menopausal women.
Lauren truly loves watching others have light bulb moments that help them to live a life they love and can feel great about. A note from Lauren:
I have worked with many different people, all with differing goals, training in both gym settings and on my own. I have trained kids in classes geared toward just staying active and having fun, all the way up to the seasoned adult looking to maintain strength and balance. I love training one on one, in a small group and in a class setting. The people I get to meet and have the pleasure of working with are amazing and a HUGE part of my "why"!
Thank you for trusting me with your health and fitness journey, I pray that you would be blessed and find a lifestyle of health and fitness that you and your family enjoy living out for life!
